Natural Surroundings & Seasons

Nomad Crossroads in Autumn Fields

Fall, the crossroad between summer and winter is the time to harvest oats. Surrounding the local nomad’s winter houses are oats fields planted to yield fodder for the sheep to carry over the harsh winter months when the plateau is all ice and snow. Fall is busy with nomads both managing herds and harvesting their oats. All hands are needed and the Norlha artisans hurry as the bell rings, drawing the workroom day to a close. They clamber into tractors and set out to help their families harvest the fields.

Nomad Crossroads is 100% double sided yak wool that plays on the natural colors of grey and white yaks.
